Yamaha YZF R15 V3.0 – Overview
The racing master Yamaha has decided to grab a bigger slice of the market by introducing two speedsters, the Yamaha YZF R15 V3.0 and M-Slaz, for which are mostly hands impatiently waiting to throttle. The R15 line of Bikes sets a new trend in the full faring segment throughout the years, and the owners of the R15 V 2.0 are filled with racing attitude and gains special attention on roads and city traffics. The Yamaha YZF R15 V3.0 is now expected to target the aggressive performance and dominate the road by making a clear line between other rapid bikes like Suzuki GSX R150 and Honda CBR 150R 2017.
Outlook and design
The Yamaha YZF R15 V3.0 remains same in its style and design department, that was overall confirmed by the recent launch in Indonesia, however with more racing colours included.
The bike includes some of the digital parameters and few other specs form the M-slaz was the information leaked, however the R15 itself is a top notch racing machine which might get its own identity.
The inverted front forks are the expected visible change which might not look significantly as it is more suitable for the enhancement of the naked bike style though the advantages remain same on the R15 v3.0.
Yamaha YZF R15 V3.0 Engine specifications
The R15 V 3.0 is solely made for the next generation performance to produce an enormous amount of power and torque out of the engine. The estimated power output may come close to 17 BHP @ 8,500 RPM and 15 NM @ 7,500 RPM of torque.
The 149.8 cc, single cylinder, Liquid cooled, Fuel Injected, 4-stroke engine mated with a 6-speed gear box claims to perform above the previous version of R15. The single Over Head camshaft (SOHC) with 4 valves manages the gaseous circulation of the R15 V 3.0 engine.
Forks, Brakes and Tyres
The Yamaha YZF R15 V 3.0 has the upside down Telescopic suspension at the front while the rear side is made easy with a Linked Type Monocross suspension.
The tyres of R15 v3.0 is expected to measure about 110/70-17 in the front and 130/70-17 on rear.
Both the wheels are supported by the ABS option of free hydraulic single disk brake in the front and rear of 267 mm and 220mm, respectively.
The digital frames of the R15 is a racing display, that comes with limited screen size. The cluster precisely has Speedometer, Tachometer (digital bars come from left to right),
