UM Motorcycles exported to Nepal
The American Um motorcycles alliance with the Lohia has successfully started the journey of its production and export. The first lot of UM motorcycles made in India was initiated to export to Nepal from Kashipur, Uttrakhand.
Currently, the company has started to export two models, which are to be Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S.
It is definitely a new day in the 300 cc segment of motorcycles in India due to the UM Motorcycles production, and the increasing demand for the Royal Enfield motorcycles may have changed.
To add more spice to the topic of the UM motorcycles, the Mr. Rajeev Mishra, the CEO of UM Lohia mentioned that, he has very high hopes over their product’s durability and comfort of this segment.
Also, he mentioned about the company’s commitments regarding the Nepal operation and the upcoming days will be a positive for the company, followed by the Renegade Commando and Sports S entry.
Mr. Jose Villegas, the Director of UM International and Ayush Lohia, the Director UML stated that, “The stylish and versatile next generation 300 cc Cruiser bikes come from the Block of UM International that has its deep roots in America and will be present for marketing in Nepal through their Channel Partner IME Group.”
Powering the Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S is the powerful 300cc liquid cooled engine, capable of producing 24.8 BHP of maximum power and 23 NM of peak torque.
The engine is connected to a 6-speed gearbox for the gear transmission.
If the UM motorcycles fix the price close to the Royal Enfield motorcycles, many UM products would be encountered on India roads in the upcoming days.
