TVS Apache RTR 160 model 2017

Apache RTR 160 2017 model was found testing recently, which were further confirmed by the spy pics. TVS have decided to play a different strategy for its flagship 150cc segment motorcycle through the new model Apache of 2017.

From the spy pics, it is easy to reminiscent the bigger Apache RTR 200 4v in the new generation 160cc Apache.

The Apache RTR 160 dominated the 150cc market and later started to register weak sales, due to the trendy and powerful rivals of the same class from Yamaha, Honda and Bajaj.

However, TVS is now testing its new age Apache RTR 160 2017 model to retain its reputation back through the launch of the 2017 Apache.

The Apache RTR 160 2017 model copies its external design from the 200cc Apache. Therefore, both the 160 and 200cc segment of Apaches share same design but with slight modification to the younger version to show the difference.

It is very interesting to note the same kind of strategy from the Bajaj motorcycles, which involved in the production of Pulsar 160NS which is a younger version of the Pulsar 200NS.

The company even launched the Pulsar 160NS in the other regions and expected to reach soon in India.

The same kind of plan is seen in the case of TVS in the production of Apache RTR 160 2017 model. The large, edgy fuel tank, headlight, rear LED, speedometer, exhaust and other feature of the Apache RTR 160 2017 are similar to the Apache 200.

Few changes seen in the Apache 160 are the thin tires, no split seat and silver shade side panels.

The engine of the Apache RTR 160 2017 is expected to have an improved set of engines with the BS IV compliance and rapid performance.

Both, Apache RTR 160 2017 and Bajaj Pulsar 160NS are the two best 150cc segment motorcycles, but are hard to select one out them.
