Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx 2017 launched
The updated version of the Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx for the year 2017 is added to the adventure range of motorcycles and priced at a range of INR 18.75 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Triumph Tiger will be sold through completely built units (CBUs).
The Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx is available in many categories like XR which is for road driving and an XC range of variants for enjoying the off-road experience. The same variants are also available in the younger version of the Tiger 800.
The Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx rival against the likes of Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro and the BMW R1200GS Adventure.
Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx is the best in class motorcycle of the range of Tiger motorcycles. The Triumph Tiger 1200 now takes a new chapter, sculpting it with the sharp edges and ruggedness for matching the best off roader appearance.
Powering the Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx is the same 1215 cc, in-line three cylinder engine capable of producing 137 PS @ 9,300 RPM of maximum power and delivers a torque of a value of 123 NM @ 6200 RPM.
The Tiger Explorer engine 2017 is of Euro-IV grade and possess a tuned mill. Currently, the Tiger 1200 is spotted in Blue shade and expected to have the standard colors.
For India, the Triumph Tiger is available in one variant and are limited to 20 units. Triumph has also included the updates that get the new age Tiger version to the next level.

The electronic console receives ride-by-wire tech in the update.
Three riding modes included, Road, Rain and Off-Road. Also, the programmable rider mode added for personal settings.
White performance (WP) Semi-active Suspension System added for long rides.
Included with Cornering ABS and traction control systems with an inertial measurement unit (IMU) for intelligent braking and traction control.
