Triumph and Bajaj declare global partnership
The eminent UK based motorcycle producer TRIUMPH and the Indian motorcycle giant BAJAJ gets into the new Global Partnership.
The official announcement and partnership of the two manufacturers asset each other and are expected to come out with a new type of motorcycles.
The official partnership is speculated to expand the Triumph motorcycle in India through the channel of the Bajaj Auto Limited.
The prominent presence and the wide distribution of the Bajaj motorcycles can float the experience and popularity of the Triumph to produce middle weight motorcycles (600 cc variant).
With the new global partnership, the Triumph will produce new range of motorcycles in India in the Bajaj plant.
Currently, Triumph is assembling its motorcycle in India, which on manufacturing later in the Bajaj plant will cut off the taxes and unnecessary prices.
There are also optimistic chances that Bajaj may make the Triumph motorcycles available at affordable price in many of the nearby countries like Columbia, Bangladesh, Philippines, Egypt and Peru, where Bajaj has its eminence.
“We hope to bring to bear upon global markets the individual strengths of the partners including brand position and perception, design and development technology, quality and cost competitiveness and worldwide distribution,” Bajaj Auto added
Bajaj already owns 48% of share in its KTM motorcycles produced at its Chakan plant and further continues its tie-up with Husqvarna recently.
It is also noteworthy that, the Triumph motorcycles were planning about the 250 cc motorcycles in 2013 that are to be launched in 2015, which may be co-related.
