Jawa 350 OHC Unveiled
One of the classic retro styling motorcycle wanting to have one, is the Jawa 350 OHC. Why are we suddenly talking about the old Jawa 350 OHC in 2017??? The surprise is that the Jawa 350 was launched in Czech republic and about to come India even with an affordable price range.
Arresting the Jawa 350 OHC from the road side is due the emission standards poised on the two stroke motorcycles. However, the Jawa overcomes the problem by entering into the production of four stroke engine with the Euro 4 compliant. Currently the motorcycle is priced in a range of INR 2.7 Lakh in Czech Republic and are made available only in Czech and North America.
Mahindra holds Jawa 350 OHC
Will it come to India is the next question that arises in the mind of every Indian. The answer even more cheers. The Mojo 300 maker, the Mahindra, takes care of the brand licence, which will lead to the production of Jawa in India.
In addition to this, the Jawa 350 OHC will be altered in its engine capacity by 250 – 300cc, which can result in significant reduction in the overall price and support after sales service. Therefore, the Mahindra may get a new model of motorcycle under its roof.
But, the news remains still unresolved and more details will be given after the decision made on the arrival of Jawa 350 OHC into India.
The engine of the 350 OHC is 397cc, 4-stroke, which can produce a maximum power of 27 PS at 6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 30.6 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The engine is connected to the old 5-Speed gearbox than Six.
The bike is expected to reach a top speed of 135 Kmph and a mileage of 23 Kmpl. It is expected that the Fuel injection system and the incorporating of the India BS 4 norms will excel in less pollution and improved mileage.
The full metal body work, RE like exhaust, round headlight with the top decorating double cup instrumental console, seat and the chrome spoke wheels are the character of the Jawa 350 OHC and remains antique.
