Honda 150SS Racer
Honda has recently revealed its concept model motorcycle, currently called as Honda 150SS Racer in the 2017 Bangkok motor show, Thailand. As already Honda showcased its most wanted SFA 150 concept in the Osaka motor show, Japan, this is the second concept vehicle showcased by this Japan firm. But, the launch date of the Honda 150 SS Racer will be delayed as the SFA 150 launch need to be addressed.
Also, Honda is busy with making cruiser motorcycles making as rival for Royal Enfield and getting prepared for the Africa twin and Honda XRE 300 launch by the end of 2017.
Honda 150SS Racer Outlook
The 150SS Racer looks absolutely concept and futuristic. The fuel tank gets few edges and appears large in the body. The concept is supported by the partial trellis frame structure and can come with a very short wheelbase for the agility. The swingarm of the motorcycle resembles the gull-arm type, which is seen on higher capacity bikes.
The upside-down forks in the front with a round shaped classic headlight of the Honda 150SS Racer gives the bike a scrambler look. Mostly, alloy wheels are expected and for sure there will be a significant change about the outlook of the 150SS Racer on launch for better practicality.
Seating arrangement of the 150SS Racer was seen only for the rider and the pillion seat will be included during the production season. The exhaust unit looks compact and can come as a side mount.
The instrument cluster may get the advanced features and easily readable. Both the wheels of the motorcycle are supported by the disc brakes.
150SS Racer engine
The engine that the Honda 150SS Racer features is the liquid cooled engine of 150cc, which is expected to generate a power of 18 BHP.
Honda has not revealed any of the specs details till now, except the showcase of the 150SS Racer.
