Outlook and design
The Suzuki GSX R150 is a pure racing sport bike that is derived from its higher capacity Suzuki GSX R1000 heritage. The sporty nature of the GSX R150 has all its attitude to compete with the Yamaha R15.
The front fairing is a complete aerodynamic engineering design, that easily evades against the opposite wind pressure. The GSX R150’s visor is set slant and the projected LED headlight looks bold and appealing. The full fairing and the side panels of the GSX R150 gets the larger SUZUKI branding, which is truly an eye catcher. The GSX R150 is also available with a plain body colour with the large R – GSX logo similar to GSX R1000.
Take a casual look at the sidewise fairing, the GSX R150 will resemble the Yamaha R25 headlight. Suzuki is cleverly planning to launch the GSX R150 when the Yamaha R15 V3 is about to launch. The GSX R150 is designed to get the best racing saddle position, and looks absolutely sporty. The split step up seat and the side panels are set high, powering the racing structure intact.
But, the front fender look dated, however the rear fender looks like a nice job. The alloy wheels of GSX R150 also look bland. The Suzuki GSX R150 comes with side mount exhaust, which is a dual port. The tail light and the structure of the GSX R150 is slim, attracting, fresh and new. The overall design with the fuel tank design of GSX R150 is done well.
