Suzuki GSX R1000 and GSX R1000R launched
India receives another set of a 1000cc class racing sport motorcycle from Suzuki. The two flagship machines are launched in India at a price range of INR 19 Lakh and 22 Lakh rupees, respectively. The best rival for the Suzuki GSX R1000 and GSX R1000R is the recently launched Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade and Sp2.
Suzuki has made both the GSX R1000 and GSX R1000R to lose weight to be lighter on their foot. Another noticeable feature about the bike is the inclusion of features that are being used in the MotoGP races, says Suzuki.
The racing variable valve, Showa big piston forks (Balance Free forks), Brembo Monobloc brake and the Bridgestone radial tyre are the superlative part of the Suzuki GSX R1000 and GSX R1000R.
The 999.8cc, in-line four cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine of the Suzuki GSX R1000 and GSX R1000R can produce a maximum power of 202 ps at 13, 200 RPM and a peak torque of 117.6 NM at 10, 800 RPM. The improved throttle bodies of the ride-by-wire keeps the GSX candidate to be on the top notch.
Bi-Directional Quick Shift System, Suzuki Drive Mode, Traction Control System, improved aerodynamic shape and lighter aluminium chassis are the highlights of the Suzuki GSX R1000 and GSX R1000R
Suzuki Clutch Assist System (Slipper clutch) with the Bi-Directional Quick Shift System will allow the toe to play with the gear lever, irrespective of the corner.
Triton Blue and Metallic Mat Black are the two colors available for GSX R1000 variant. On the other hand, the Suzuki GSX R1000R is available in Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue
A Special GSX-R1000R logos are impregnated for denoting the 2017 variant features. Suzuki claims that the graphic schemes applied on the GSX R1000 and GSX R1000R models resemble the heritage of the Suzuki racing team.
