Suzuki Gixxer SF SP and Gixxer SP
Suzuki India launched has launched its sparkling 150 cc motorcycle, the Naked Gixxer and the Gixxer SF in the special edition variant. The full faired Suzuki Gixxer SF SP and the Gixxer SP both uses the same mechanical set up as remains for the 2017 model.
The 2017 Suzuki Gixxer SF SP boosts its look by the new tri colour paint scheme and gets a special edition emblem on the sides of the fairing. Along with the Gixxer SF SP, the naked Gixxer SP is also offered with the same black and orange colour combination for the extra appeal.
The fuel tank of both the models has an orange shade on the top and the middle side cowl this time is completely shaded in the orange. The Suzuki Gixxer SF SP price is set to have a tag range of ₹ 99,312, while the naked Suzuki Gixxer SP is priced at ₹ 81,175 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Suzuki Motorcycles India is on the pursuit of advancement that the company updated the Gixxer model persistently in the year 2017. The Suzuki updated its motorcycles and Scooters, including the Gixxer and Gixxer SF for the BS4 engine and AHO. Then Suzuki offered new body colours for the year and then the dual tone alloy wheel model in the Gixxer.
The updated did not stop then, launched its Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS (Single channel ABS) version and now launched its special edition Gixxer SP motorcycles.
During the Special edition Gixxer launch. Mr. Sajeev Rajasekharan, the new Executive Vice President for Sales and After-Sales stated that “We are pleased to announce the latest Special Edition variants of the Gixxer SF, with ABS and FI; and Gixxer. The Gixxer SP 2017 Series exudes these attributes perfectly, while also injecting fresh excitement and thrill into the successful and popular Gixxer motorcycles portfolio. The SP editions stay committed to our promise of offering riders a blend of exceptional performance, sporty looks, and a pride of ownership.”
Suzuki Gixxer SF SP and Gixxer SP both gets the power from the same engine that are finalized for the 2017. Powering the motorcycles are the 154.9 cc single-cylinder engine producing 14.5 BHP @ 8000 RPM of maximum power and 14 NM at 6000 RPM of torque. The engine is connected to the five-speed gearbox.
Suzuki has already mentioned about the tweaked engines of the 2017 year, though the engine specification remains same.
