Royal Enfield Himalayan FI BS4 is ready to launch
Royal Enfield Himalayan FI BS4 is organized to launch this October 2017 with the Auto Headlight on (AHO) and lacks the ABS feature. Earlier to the RE Himalaya FI is launched, the spy shots taken from one of the Kerala dealership further confirms that the launch is near.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan FI BS4 model can be booked by paying the refundable amount of INR 5500, which are generally non-refundable in any of the motorcycle booking cases.
The price of the Himalayan FI BS4 is around INR 1,70,190 (ex-showroom) and may take two months for the delivery of the motorcycle, which on further delay can produce the booking money refundable.
From the spy image, the bike is noticed for the fuel injection system, replacing the carburetor fed and a specific fuel pump underneath the fuel chamber with an O2 sensor.
Fuel tank cap, blacked out handlebar mounts and, pannier mounts and a black tinch in the front fender are the visual updates seen on the RE Himalaya FI BS4.
That’s all for the Royal Enfield Himalayan FI BS4 outlook, while the engine specifications are the same 411 cc single-cylinder, oil-and-air-cooled unit generating a maximum power of 24.5 HP at 6,500 RPM and a peak torque of 32 NM at 4,250 RPM. The engine remains connected to the five-speed gearbox.

Additionally, the Royal Enfield Himalayan FI BS4 arms the secondary balancer shaft for smoother riding experience and the long travel suspension in the front and the rear link-type mono-shock further supports the softness of the riding.
Based on the dealership location, the price of the Himalayan FI and the insurance coverage period varies from one to three years.
Royal Enfield also spends around 800 Cr rupees for improving and making new models of motorcycles, and is expected to give a good kick start for the Himalayan FI BS4 model and kick off the problems faced in standard Himalayan.
