Bajaj Pulsar 400SS Overview

Bajaj has planned to maintain the pulsar 400SS to be at the top notch, which will balance the KTM RC 390 on the other hand, delivered from the same roof.
Outlook and design
The architect of the Bajaj Pulsar 400SS is a fireball on the track, and the full fairing treat of the 400SS is just sporty. The double focus head lamps and the streaked eye brows with a tiny side indicator projections features like a predator face.
The fuel tank of the 400SS is almost the same that is seen on the RS200. The fuel tank is a favourite design for the Bajaj, as the same blue print is carried over different versions of pulsars.
The knee of the rider receives a comfortable position, packing the fuel tank around.
The decent graphics on the Pulsar 400SS is an immaculate job, and the bike offers a unique design without being overdone.
The body graphics though look great, differences in few aspects might have done to differentiate the Pulsar 400SS from the RS 200.
The feeler like rear view mirrors, the carbon fiber wrap on the sides of fuel tank and the exhaust set up is premium, as seen in the Pulsar RS 200. The 400SS is fiery on the rear side raised and the black carbon shade finish underneath is keen for the under grabs.
Kerb Weight & Dimensions
The Bajaj Pulsar 400SS appears quite large and well sized to its dimensions. It is expected to measure about 1999 mm in length, 765 mm in width, and 1114 mm in height.
The ground clearance of the pulsar 400SS is expected to keep handling relaxed without difficulties.
The overall weight of the 400SS may be a bit higher than the 165 kg, and has a fuel tank capacity of 13 litres is foreseen.
Engine and gearbox

The Bajaj Pulsar 400SS may hit the top speed of 160-165 kmph or above, which is a true excitement. Though, the Pulsar 400SS is built for performance, the mileage of the bike is expected to be decent.
The Pulsar 400SS may return a mileage of 22-26 Kmpl on an average, which is close to the other bikes of same class.
Though the current trend bikes are completely digitalized, the Bajaj Pulsar 400SS combines both analogue and digital technology.
An analogue tachometer with combined digital speedometer, odometer, trip-meters and clock are found together as the instrument console is mostly expected.
Additionally, Low Oil and battery Indicator, fuel indicator, Rev Limiter is some of the interesting features included. Bajaj manages to maintain the digital console of the 400SS to be cool and economy, which is seen on the RS 200.
The telescopic front forks with an anti-friction bush of the Bajaj Pulsar 400SS look tough and robust. The rear side receives a Nitrox mono shock absorber with five to seven step pre-adjustment is expected for the best riding quality.
The alloy resembles the Pulsar 200ns and good enough to merge with the entire look. The front and the rear wheel of the 400SS may come with 300 mm and 230 mm single butterfly disc brake, respectively. The ABS remains as option and expected for both the braking system.
The tyres of the bike are expected to be the premium item to match the performance of the 400SS and wider than the RS 200.
