Kawasaki Z900, which is expected to replace the existing Z800 launched along with Ninja 650 and z650 in India. The street fighter gets many advancements and design upgradation for the fresh 2017 year model. However, there is no official confirmation about the Kawasaki Z900, that when will the motorcycle be available for purchase.
The Kawasaki Z900 price in India may get less number on the road, due to its higher price tag. Also, Kawasaki may take some time to make this motorcycle available in India to be enjoyed.
Outlook and design
The Kawasaki Z900 2017 is made similar to look like its higher capacity senior Z1000. The bike looks stunning with its new sharp and aggressive headlamp with the LED treat.
The Kawasaki Z900 looks absolutely robust and brutal about its engine pack, which is oozing out of the Z900’s body frame. It shades a macho feel to the Kawasaki Z900 and with its lime green trellis frame, this street fighter is an eye catcher.
The fuel tank of the motorcycle is well sculpted and the air shrouds attached to it scoops the air easily. The indicators are sharp and tiny to match the design.

The replacement of Z800 by Kawasaki Z900 loses its weight for about 20 kilos, due to its advance trellis frame incorporation. The Z900’s significant weight reduction can reward in the power to weight ratio aspect.
In addition, the Z900 uses a light weight Swingarm, crankshaft and engine balancer, which will help the rider to handle the Kawasaki Z900 smiling.
Engine and gearbox
The 948cc inline four-cylinder engine of the Kawasaki Z900 2017 model can produce 125 PS of maximum power and 100 NM @ 7,700 RPM of peak torque. The power produced by the Z900 is significantly higher compared to the Kawasaki Z800 model.
The engine is connected to a 6-speed gear box and are appropriate for the long run rides and urban spin.
Kawasaki Z900 top speed and mileage
The Kawasaki Z900 top speed comes closer to the Z1000, which is measured approximately around 220 kmph, while returning a decent mileage of 12 -15 kmpl. The Fi system equipped with DFI with 36 mm Keihin throttle bodies governs the fuel consumption.

The Z900 employs a dual petal disc brake of 300 mm at the front with four piston calipers, while the rear side is managed by the 250 mm disc with single piston caliper.
Dual channel ABS is expected, and the feature can be the standard value at this price value.

The Z900 price is estimated around INR 9,00,000 to 11,000,00 in India. The price though worth it, still appears heavy for an Indian Citizen and may choose to Z250 version.
