Honda CRF150 Concept showcased
Honda revealed its entry level Motocross model at the 2017 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. The Honda CRF150 concept reminiscent the Team HRC Russian Motocross champion Evgeny Bobryshev’s characteristic ‘777’, who won the 125 cc Russian Championship in 2004. But, the Honda CRF150 Concept will get a new attitude of shade on production.
Honda is also planning to get into the production of XRE 300 and the CRF150 is on a related line.
Honda CRF150 Specification
The triggering power of the Honda CRF150 is obtained through the 149.2cc, 2-valve, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The power values are not yet revealed, but are expected to have low to mid level torque. The bore x stroke ratio is fixed to be 57.3 x 57.8 mm.
The 150 cc engine is expected to connect to the five speed gear box for the transmission duty.
The Honda CRF150 features the semi double cradle chassis with the foot pegs seems to be made of carbon fiber for the better gripping and loosing weight.
Brakes, Tyres and Suspension
The Honda CRF150 features a golden long travel Showa upside down forks in the front for the best mud riding performance. The rear side of the CRF150 is supported by the mono shock unit.
The power ride of the motorcycle is brought down by the petal shaped disc braking units at both the wheels. The Honda CRF150 gets a cover on the front disc for the prevention of mud splash and rusting.
The 21 inch and 18 inch front and rear wheels are shod with the Pirelli Scorpion tyres for gripping the adventure activities.
Similar motorcycles from recent time line
KTM recently revealed and launched its first two stroke motocross of 250 cc and 300 cc. Followed by this, Kawasaki recently updated its KX250F for the year 2018. Thought, these machines are of higher capacity, the CRF150 may gain more attention on production and launch.
