Ducati Fairing Banned – Lorenzo tested new Design in Brno MotoGP

Ducati took a step ahead towards the subject of aerodynamic MotoGP fairing, during the second practice of the Czech Grand Prix at Brno. The new structure protruding on either side of the lower fairing become a plus sign.
The so called winglet designs regarding the fairing were banned previously, and has taken the refurbishment to replace the winglet. It featured in one of the Jorge Lorenzo’s two bikes in the practice session.

With the racing track fully dried, Lorenzo was fast and focused than his previous lap timings. However, the new engineering design was not tried by his team mate Andrea Dovizioso.
The team mates shared the position of topping by Dovizioso and coming 15th by Lorenzo.
The racing company also tried an experiment earlier in the Qatar with another set of fairing, but resulted in low top speed and expelled from the idea.
