New BMW S1000RR was spotted somewhere in Germany showing the preparation of the motorcycle. The new spy picture suggests that the model of the BMW S1000RR can be the next generation bike of the year 2018.

The information on the BMW S1000RR is further supported by the cover page of the Motorrad magazine showing the new generation S1000RR.

Powering the S1000RR is the existing in line four cylinder engine capable of making 199 BHP and can marginally increase to 200 BHP in the upgradation of 2018. But, the styling and chassis get a new plan.

The 2018 BMW S1000RR is expected to gain the carbon-fiber technology that is used in the high performance HP4 Race model.

The S1000RR is currently a prototype model and the headlight position changes, though it may be even further may change the position.

The lights have been put slightly down near the sharp nose that streamlines the wind blast. The same sort of racing trends are seen on the popular sports bikes like Yamaha R6, Ducati Panigale, CBR250RR.

Standing with a long history, the BMW S1000RR is expected to get the upgradation technically in 2018 including advanced digital console, inertial measurement unit (IMU) incorporation and units that are associated for the improved ride quality.

More chances are for the S1000RR to get a full-color TFT instrument panel.

Currently, the BMW S1000RR is powered by the 999 cc, in-line four engine capable of producing 199 BHP at 13,500 RPM of maximum power and 113 NM of peak torque at 10,500 RPM of peak torque.

The overall weight of 204 Kg is expected to drop on exploiting the carbon fiber technology.
