Benelli Leoncino Scrambler launch details
Benelli Leoncino Scrambler will be launched in India in the month of November this year. The Benelli Leoncino Scrambler was first showcased in 2015 EICMA show in Italy. The DSK Motowheels Chairman, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni further confirmed the launch details of the motorcycles in the mentioned schedule.
Benelli is also planning to launch two more motorcycles in India this fiscal year.
The Chairman of the DSK Motowheels also added that, the Benelli Leoncino Scrambler which is about to launch in India is suitable for the daily lifestyle to some mild off-road riding. A complete package of adventurous riding is not offered through this upcoming Leoncino.
Benelli Leoncino Scrambler Tech details
The fuel supply for the Leoncino is powered by the Electronic injection with ø 37 mm throttle body.
A 500 cc, twin cylinder, liquid cooled engine of the Leoncino Scrambler produces 47 BHP of maximum power and 45 NM of peak torque. The engine is connected to a six-speed gearbox.
Suspension and brake
The Benelli Leoncino gets an upside down forks of 50 mm diameter in the front and the rear is the single mono shock absorber.
The Benelli Leoncino Scrambler is equipped with the dual 320 mm semi floating disc with 4 piston caliper in the front and the rear side is fitted with 260 mm disc with single piston calipers. ABS is offered as standard and the Benelli Leoncino Scrambler price in India is INR 6 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Leoncino Scrambler offered in India is a non-adventure model and are expected to have on road tires. The 120 / 70- R17 section tire in the front and 160/60 – R17 section rear tire grips on the tarmac.
Benelli Leoncino Scrambler finds a potential rival from the Ducati which recently launched the Scrambler Desert Sled in India. Apart from the pricing point of view, the Desert Sled is more bound to the off road capabilities compared to the Leoncino.
