The KTM Duke 390 2017 is the one motorcycle among the 400 cc segment, which is a gorgeous street fighter on outlook, but aggressive in performance. The design of the KTM Duke is a stunner and has its own reputation on all aspects. The commanding Duke 390 is now re-engineered to have the ultimate killer looks and make every rider speechless. The KTM Duke 390 2017 is now fully loaded to pose its domination on every road with a new attitude. Check out the changes between the 2017 and older version of the Duke 390.
Duke 390 Trellis Frame
The identity of the 390 Duke from its younger 200 cc is the orange trellis frame, which is now partly painted with white colour. The attached white frame is considered to be the sub frame supporting the main frame structure. There is a slight change in the white frame which is mounted little bit higher than before.
TFT (Thin Film Transistor) Display
It is well known that the Duke’s instrument cluster is the most informative of all kinds. The KTM Duke 390 2017 is now powered by the all new TFT display, informing the Duke’s activity accurately. The Tachometer gets a circular shape, while the Fuel gauge and Engine temperature graph remains inside the circle.
Super Duke (Skeletor) Headlamp
The headlamp of the 2017 model resembles the skeletor character face with a central split. The headlamp is powered by the LED setup with the Super Duke derived characters.
Metal Fuel Tank
The fuel tank of the KTM Duke 390 2017 is made with the robust metal (rather being a plastic body) with a small decal on it. The paint job looks fantastic on this 2017 update. The DUKE graphic on the fuel tank is also fresh and new than before.
The key ignition of the 390 Duke is now a part of the fuel tank, rather being connected to the instrument cluster. The change of ignition key spot on the fuel tank is trendy.
Improved Fuel Tank Capacity
The beast requires more energy to keep the rider fun about the journey. The KTM Duke 390 2017 is now improved with the fuel tank capacity from 11 litres to 13.41 litres.
Shades of KTM Duke 390 2017
The shades of the KTM Duke 390 2017 are now determined by the fuel tank attached air scoops that runs continuously sidewise. Whereas, the 2016-year Duke 390 will be determined by its fuel tank itself.
The handlebar of the 2017 model remains same as conventional type, but coated with dark shade which used to be in Silver shade in the previous models.
